· The Ward of Court system will end;
· The Lunacy Regulations Act 1871 will be updated;

In July 2013 the Assisted Decision Making Bill was introduced.
If this Bill becomes the law it will make many changes on how people will be supported to make decisions:
· The Ward of Court system will end;
· The Lunacy Regulations Act 1871 will be updated;
Inclusion Ireland, Leap and the Centre for Disability Law and Policy at NUI Galway are holding three information seminars.
They will take place in Dublin, Galway and Cork.
The seminars are free.
